Among the various elements that have been integrated for the improvement of the temple, is the installation of a new flooring in Blanco Macael marble with perimeter banding in Rojo Espa\u00f1a and Negro Marquina marble, as a central carpet, which respects the layout of the floor of the Presbytery and the various chapels. <\/p>\n\n

In addition, a marble plinth has been installed on the perimeter of the interior walls; a piece that connects to a ventilated chamber under the floor with grilles on the outside, the purpose of which was to allow air to circulate naturally to eliminate humidity in the floor and walls.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Within this complex process, it is not surprising that natural stone from the Sierra de Macael has been used, as it is, without a doubt, an element that adds value to the temple. In addition, know-how has played a very important role.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The technical office of the company M\u00e1rmoles Guti\u00e9rrez Mena, responsible for the stone works, has collaborated jointly with the technical management of the project; a fact that has improved the stone fabrication process of all the architectural elements of the work, such as columns, altar, ambo and taping, among others. The Almeria-based company focuses its activity on the entire natural stone production process, from extraction to transformation and distribution.<\/p>\n\n
