The deadline for nominations is open for AEMA companies until next September 30.
The Macael Awards celebrate their anniversary. The event, which has become a benchmark within the region business landscape and the most important promotion act of natural stone industry in Spain, celebrates its 30 years on Friday 18 November.
From now until September 30, the companies of ‘Asociación de Empresarios del Mármol de Andalucía’ may submit their candidacies, must provide, as usual, the documentation that proves the justification of the proposal and merit, images, information materials and technical documentation, among others.
The Macael Awards have internationalized in the last years and their categories are: North America International Award, Latin America International Award, Europe International Award, Africa International Award, Asia International Award, National Award, Person/Institution Award, Design Award and Communication/Communicator Award. International Awards and National Award may fall, indifferently, on a work, architect, promoter, council or public institution.
In the last edition , XXIX , these awards went to the American Society of Interior Designers ( ASID ) with the Award for Institution; the singer David Bisbal, with the Award for Communication; Group headquarters in Cajamar (Almería), the National Prize; the family mausoleum in Vila-Real (Castellón), with the Award for the Crafts; Carlton Hotel (Singapore), Prudential Financial Tower ( New Jersey), the University of Algiers, Showroom ( Moscow) and Residential Tower Anacanoa (Santo Domingo ) which won the Asia, North America, Africa, Europe and Latin America International Award, respectively .
Along with the awarded, the event hosted a large cast of guests where they were, among others, the acting president of the Government of Spain, Mariano Rajoy and the President of Andalusia, Susana Diaz, as well as representatives of eleven international companies who participated in the days before on VI International Meeting of Natural Stone organized by the Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency (EXTENDA). The celebration of this activity will coincide this year with the most important annual event of the marble sector: the Macael Awards.
This XXX Edition, whose organization AEMA is working already, will commemorate, once again, the work well done by the companies with their projects, the fighting spirit to break into the international market and the capacity of a sector that continues to reinvent itself despite of the ups and downs suffered by the difficult economic situation.
However, the greatest value of the Macael Awards are their Sponsors, because without them, it would be unfeasible performing them. Therefore, AEMA aims to continue investing and participating in this new edition.
