Rafael de La-Hoz, the prestigious Spanish architect, stars in the 2019 Macael Awards event along with a ‘premium’ cast of awarded
- The Andalusian Marble Industry Association (AEMA), have celebrated this Friday, November 22, the thirty-third edition of the 2019 Macael Awards.
- The participants of the X Encuentro Internacional de la Piedra (International Stone Meeting), organized by Extenda, were able to discover the great productive capacity of the Macael Marble Industry through the ten spectacular winners.
- The new publication MÁRMOL / Architecture & Design magazine, edited by the Macael Marble Brand and targeted to architecture studios, decorators and designers, was presented at the event.
Ten premium awarded stared the night of the popular Macael Awards on November 22. “We’ve used our marbles in the most important monuments and works worldwide. We’ve commercialize materials from all around the world for the most singular buildings and we’ve perform the most difficult projects designed by the main architectural studios from the five continents”, said Jesús Posadas, the AEMA’s president in his speech that closed the event.
And indeed, the Macael Marble Industry shows the great work that is done in its Region with its awards ceremony and how its companies have achieved the recognition, nationally and internationally, with this projects’ execution. “This architecture, design and construction professionals have trusted us not only because of our know-how –very important and our identity sign-, but also because of the big bet for the innovation, the use of the most advanced technology and the marketing and market conquer initiatives”, added the CEO

They came from USA, Mexico, UK, UAE, and Kazakhstan.
The new publication MÁRMOL / Architecture & Design magazine, edited by the Macael Marble Brand and targeted to architecture studios, decorators and designers, was presented at the event. That will be a printed and online publication, both in Spanish and English, that was born at the 2019 Macael Awards night as a monographic special for the awarded. From February 2020, the magazine will show the last trends in natural stone and compact surfaces projects, each four months.
The event was broadcast in streaming and the Social Media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube -, posted and will post the night best moments.
